Karisa McLane has worked for Moore Community House since June 2007 as Project Corodinator for Women in Construction (WinC). She began her assigment by conducting an investigation of the environment for women in the construction trades on the Gulf Coast. Karissan then developed the WinC prgram to meet the Coast's needs.
Karissa has been involved in construction projects for many years working with her father's contracting company in Washington State. More recently ,she spent a year with a volunteer organization in Biloxi helping build homes and restore a local park. Karissa graduated from Western Washington University in 2005 with a B.S.in Community Health.
