Lauren joined the WinC staff in February 2017. After graduating from Rhodes College in 2013, Lauren returned home to the Gulf Coast. She has worked for multiple nonprofits as a program assistant and program coordinator, successfully managing volunteer projects, training classes and grant administration. At WinC, Lauren assists with planning and implementation of class projects, works to expand current partnerships and supports recruitment efforts. Lauren also supports other community initiatives as a volunteer and Board Member of the Dream Program, a local nonprofit offering inclusive recreational opportunities to individuals with special needs.

Jocelyn Bass

Case Manager Coordinator

Jocelyn Bass, a graduate of William Carey College and native of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, has spent most of her professional career working to improve the quality of care for Mississippi’s youngest and most vulnerable population, children.  Jocelyn is pleased to merge her desire to improve the life of children with the mission of Women In Construction to train women in the construction and advanced manufacturing fields.  As Case Manager Coordinator, Jocelyn is happy to support the women that participate in the program on their way to an employment sector that pays higher wages and offers the opportunity for families to earn a self-sufficiency wage.  Jocelyn and her husband Patrick are residents of Gulfport and have three children, Kristin, James and Jacob.

A Missouri native, Jeanne attended Forsyth High School and College of the Ozarks in Missouri studying Mass Media. At the age of 30 she joined the Army, doing basic training at Ft Dix, NJ, and trained in Field Radio repair. She was also trained in Digital System repair. She moved to Biloxi to be near her children and grandchildren. After several years of restaurant work, Jeanne discovered WinC. She graduated with Class #26 and later enrolled in the first electrician class given by WinC.
