What is an Information Session?

You've just successfully pre-registered for the very first step of the Women in Construction (WinC) enrollment process! This virtual presentation gives you an overview of our program and contains information that is essential to your successful enrollment/completion of one of WinC's training courses.

Click here to fill out our training application online. This must be completed BEFORE you will be allowed to participate in your information session.

If you have not completed your paperwork by the deadline, you will need to reschedule for a later date and time.

If corrections to your paperwork are required,  they must be completed by the deadline or you will be required to reschedule.

The info session contains audio and visual components, please be sure to make technology arrangements in advance.

It is your responsibility to be sure you have a distraction-free area to join the info session.

If you leave early or join late, you will not be considered present and will not be allowed to continue in the pre-enrollment process.

Again, it is your responsibility to reschedule if you are unable to attend your originally scheduled date and time.

Marion, our Outreach & Recruitment Coordinator, will send you a link to join the information session that you registered for on the Tuesday before your scheduled session.

Some questions that are asked during the assessments are sensitive, so it's important that you have a quiet private place for these to take place.

If this is a concern, please let one of our case managers know when they reach out to you, so they can work with you to find a solution.

On the date of your assessment, please make sure that you're on time for your appointment.

If you are unable to attend your scheduled assessment, please contact your case manager or call 228-207-5265 to let them know.

Once you've completed your scheduled information session, Marion will forward your contact information to Anne and Jocelyn, who make up WinC's Case Management Team.  They'll reach out to you the week after your information session to schedule a date and time for you to complete this last step in the process.  They'll ask some questions about what method works best for you, and go over some important details to know before the date of your assessment.
